Isn't it time for America to practice the separation of school and state?

it took 50 years of protest to create what we have now. the charlotte nc school district suggested cuts in busing favoring neighborhood based schools. the naacp marched on the courthouse causing business to close and traffic to be diverted. last monday i think.
