Is this a fair way to treat your son?

This clearly isn't about the argument downstairs...you two are just sick of each other. The truth is that you are stuck because he is the bread winner and paying all the bills. You really didn't do anything wrong by playing the video game, and no you are not crazy. But it doesn't matter who's right...he pays the bills, so he gets to set the rules. That's just how it is. Your father shouldn't have acted that way to you, but be patient...the guy is going through a divorce. He's cranky and probably needs your support...and he probably doesn't know how to be happy right now. Study hard and get a good job so you can move out of there and enjoy your life.
