What makes you happy?

I remember a Swiss guy at a company junket making a short speech. He said, 'Working for [company name] makes people happy.' Dissenting groans, but he continued, 'When people come into work in the morning, they look miserable. When they leave at the end of the day, they are smiling.' Who says German speakers have no sense of humour?
